This has made me wonder, what is the point of personal blogs? All blogs must have many entertainment value otherwise no one would keep or read them. Entertainment isnt a very commendable purpose, but it has more value than watching television. It is better to be learning about news events and stating your opinion on it than simply hearing it. At least then youre developing your ideas, and the reading and writing will help develop communication skills. Bloggers learn to put more thought into what they say, or just the act of writing daily can help thoughts current into words. A bloggers thoughts may stem from a news member they recently read. In this case they usually link you to the article and soil their opinions, or point out different aspects of it. Their comments are kind of a one-way discussion leading you down their train of thoughts. You can usually reply to what the autho r says, but the time delay in responses may result in the authors lack of interest to questions posed.
